Thanks to all those who helped seed the Ward Garden this morning! There was a pretty good turn out and the work went quick.
If you want to help also or help more (if you were one of those that were there this morning), the Elders Quorum still has about 60 tomato plants to plant. The boy scouts will actually be doing the planting next week, but they are looking for tomato cages. If you have an extra or two that the ward could borrow (and return to you as soon as they can) or if you would like to donate one or a few, please contact Jim E. This is an easy and inexpensive way to help out - 60 cages would be a big expense and since this garden is being funded by donations (which you can easily help with as well - ask Jim or place donation with tithing on the "other" line) it would be quite helpful to have these cages donated.
Thanks so much for you support in this effort to have a great Ward Garden - we are all on our way to some yummy veggies in the near future!
