Do all of you know this year we are going to have a Ward Garden? It is going to be on the corner of Ferguson Dr and Ferguson Way. It will be a great way to teach your kids hard work, service and it is a wonderful way to spend a family night.
And, of course, the principle of "reaping what you sew" - these fruits and vegetables will be available to ALL of our ward, after being distributed to those families in our ward who are in the greatest need. But we will need ALL of your help. There have already been tons of man hours planning and preparing the garden. The next step is planting and the whole family can help with that! Then through out the season help will be needed to keep the garden nice - you never need an invitation to weed. :)
Keep your eyes and ears open for the next service announcement concerning the garden. Also if you would like to help but physically are not able or would like to know what you can do NOW to help, contact Jim Ericson for different ways to support this great project.
